About Us

The Paul Bunyan Riders was an effort by the local businesses during the early years to attract visitors to the area during the winter months. It held its first meeting in September of 1969. In November of 1970 we incorporated, and we are proud to of served the area for over 50 years. We have over 500 members and are a 100% AWSC (Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs) member club.

We groom 79.1 miles of funded trails, and 6.2 miles of unfunded trails. We groom with two 2012 Tucker Terra (Sno-Cats) and a 2022 New Holland T6 Tractor with Tracks, each equipped with a 10.6 ft. Ultimate folding drag. We also have a 2019 New Holland Power Star Tractor that we use for all kinds of trail maintenance related to brushing and trail rehabilitation.

We send gift certificates to our landowners whose property has the trails we maintain during the winter months. These certificates can be redeemed at any one of our local businesses that support our club. We hope you will consider joining our club to ride some of the best groomed trails in Northern Oconto County. Without our many volunteers who help maintain our trail system, there would be no trails.
