PAUL BUNYAN SNOWMOBILE CLUB MEMBERS,
As we approach the start of another snowmobile season, this letter will bring you updates and information
for the upcoming year. Our first club meeting will be held on Sept. 13th, at 7 pm at Prospect Lodge.
We will be having a Poker Run again this year which will run from Sept. 2016, until our January Snow
Fun Day, at Waubee Lake Lodge. Poker books can be purchased again this year at any of the participating
businesses listed at the bottom of this newsletter for $5.00 per book. Please support them throughout the season
and remember you can go by car, truck, ATV, motorcycle or snowmobile to get stamps for the books.
PLEASE SAVE THE FOLLOWING DATES ON YOUR CALENDARS TO VOLUNTEER TIME
AND/OR SUPPORT THE CLUB:
Saturday, January 28, 2017 – Our Snow Fund Day at Waubee Lake Lodge
Saturday, July 8, 2017 – 1st Brat Fry at Supervalu in Lakewood
Friday, July 28, 2017 – 2nd Brat Fry at Supervalu in Lakewood
Enclosed is a Membership Renewal form for September, 2016 to August, 2017 club dues, and to update contact
information as needed. We hope everyone will make an effort to get their renewal memberships in as soon as
possible, especially if we can email future communications to you and save the club postage. As always we are
happy to mail club correspondence to those who prefer to be contacted through USPS, so let us know what you
prefer. It is important to have our membership information in to the AWSC at an early date because of the
discounted trail pass available only to club/AWSC members.
A big thank goes out to all the volunteers of last year’s activities and to those who donated items for the basket
raffles, Booze Party cart, or gave more than the standard membership fee to support our trails. The club can’t
survive without volunteers to help with signing, brushing, selling raffle tickets, and working the Fun Day or a
Brat Fry. Don’t forget to check the volunteer activities section of the Membership Form when you renew.
We are again making Paul Bunyan Riders club clothing available this year, so check the website order
form which has been updated. We will order new items based upon demand. Come to a meeting and check out
what we have.
You can always check the web site (www.paulbunyanriders.com) for further information on meetings, activities,
and weather/trail conditions once the season starts. Questions, Email us at email@example.com.
